Account information: your name, email address, and account credentials when you create a Convoy Link account.

Location data: real-time and historical GPS location used to power live tracking, convoy coordination, and map pins. Location is only collected while you have granted permission and are using tracking features.

Content you create: chat messages, shared media, saved locations, pins, routes, and convoy trip history.

Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic or crash information used to keep the app reliable.

To provide core features such as live location tracking, convoy coordination, chat, and route sharing.

To operate, maintain, and improve the app, including troubleshooting and analytics.

To communicate with you about your account, security, and important service updates.

To keep the service safe, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Convoy Link relies on precise location to keep your crew connected on the trail. Location sharing is under your control and can be turned off at any time in your device settings or within the app.

Your live location is shared only with members of convoys you have joined, and only while tracking is active. Historical location data is retained so you can review past trips, and is deleted when you delete your account.

With other convoy members: your location, profile, and messages are shared with members of convoys you join, according to your sharing settings.

With service providers: trusted vendors who help us operate the app (e.g. hosting, mapping, and analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations.

For legal reasons: when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal information.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your data within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep or anonymized data that cannot identify you.

You can access, update, or correct your account information at any time within the app.

You can disable location sharing through your device or in-app settings.

You can request permanent deletion of your account and associated data.

Depending on your region, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, port, or object to certain processing of your data.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

Convoy Link is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email.
